If you are conducting research on a specific element, then type the name of the element in one of the research databases listed on the Science 6 homepage. You can quickly find general information in World Book Online, Britannica School-Middle, or Scholastic Go. Britannica School-Middle offers article in three different reading levels.

Always begin your research using research databases because they have the most authoritative information. Always use the research databases first. The articles listed below provide general information. After you have used the databases, then use websites for your research. Be careful and conduct a website evaluation on every website you look at to make sure the information is accurate.  These websites that have already been evaluated.
